In recent months, the designer community has been talking a lot about artificial intelligence and image generation. Several AIs are emerging on this theme such as Dall-E, Mid Journey, Stable Diffusion and many others …
I believe that among these AIs, the one that currently allows to achieve the most amazing results is MidJourney.
I find the power of these AI both fascinating and and frightening. They’re able to generate images of the highest quality starting from rather simple textual inputs. I believe that in the future these technologies will become integrated tools in the workflow of designers to allow concepts to be displayed in a very short time and with very meaningful images.
The topic of my studies at the moment is to understand how to communicate with these AIs and how to obtain controlled results by learning to express a visual idea in words and translate it into a language made of prompts and codes that this technology is able to interpret to achieve the desired goal.
